Our first day on Chincoteague Island, Virginia started bright and early. Our team met for breakfast in the lobby at the Refuge Inn Hotel at 7:30am. After eating, we headed over to the conference room for integration. We worked all morning to finalize our canister. Our team is sharing a canister with Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT), so we worked together with them to integrate our payloads. As seen in the picture below, we make a pretty good team!
After the payloads were securely in the canister, the Program Manager Audrey Viland checked the weight of entire payload, checked our documentation, and checked to see if there was any voltage on the can. The results were...*drum roll please*...SUCCESSFUL! Our team passed all checks with flying colors! We even received compliments from Audrey about our documentation being well-organized. Below is a photo during the check-in procedure.
After the good news, we posed for a full group picture to commemorate a great day (picture below).
More updates coming soon! Thanks for reading!
