Since our canister was integrated with the rest of the forward section the day before, we scheduled a tour of Wallops Flight Facility. Enjoy the photos from our tour in the slideshow below!
The first picture shows William Elliman posing as an astronaut at the Visitor Center. The second picture shows Shreeya Desai, Victoria, Loshusan, and William Elliman excited on their tour of the machine floor. Safety comes first, so everyone was given safety goggles! The third picture shows Dr. Ileana Dumitriu in the machine shop, nicknamed by the NASA engineers as "The Rocket Factory". After the tour, we headed back to F-10 for a group photo with the rocket, all the RockSat-C teams, all RockSat-X teams, RockOn participants, and the NASA engineers who worked to integrate the forward and aft sections. If you were wondering how many people are involved in this program, take a look!
